Explore Decorated

Hello All I have finally decorated my Explore, So now she will not be jealous of my Maker she has her own design.

I got this design from someone on Cricut Crafters and Makers Blog by Jennifer Maker. Sorry I forgot who posted it.  It was in a random file share dump.  So thanks for the post that shared this file.

I cut it out using my Explore. I though it fitting that she be the one to cut out her own design.  She loves it and so do I. Take a look and let me know what you think.

Gingerbread House

 Hello Crafty Friends,

Today I’m  sharing this gingerbread house, I made the other evening. I have not made anything other than mugs and shirts this Christmas season so I found this in DS and thought I would give it a try. Take a look.

This is the side of my gingerbread house. I also cut some candy canes to add a little some thing extra from Design space.

And now the back. I just love all of the detail.

The front of my little house it so cute. I added some jewels from my stash, red and green and also some more candy canes. The over hangs are great as well. My maker cut this out like a dream. I used card stock papers and Kraft board to make my little house more sturdy.

Thanks for taking a look.

Pumpkin Treat Box

 Hello Crafting Buddies,

Today I’m Sharing with you a treat box.

I got this file from Dreaming Tree. It was cut using my Cricut Maker. It was very easy to put together.

The tools that I used in assembling my box.  Tweezers to pick up the small pieces when glueing. Bone folder for creasing the box. Spatula for lifting pieces off the mat.

I used this blending chalk to add some shaded areas to my pumpkin.

I used this glue and my ATG gun for the adhesive to put my box together.

These pop dots were used to give it some dimensions.

A side view of my cute pumpkin box. I intend on making several more of these for my co- workers.

Happy Crafting.

Christmas Truck on Canvis

 Hello Crafters and Makers,

Today I am sharing with you a canvis I made for my mantel.

My idea came from Pinterest. I have seen this type of truck on blankets  and on wood rounds so I decided to put it on a canvas. The canvas came from
The dollar store. The image came from online. I uploaded it into DS and cleaned it up. I used printable vinyl to print my design on.  I used print and cut feature for the truck and sent the image to my Cricut to cut it out. The Merry Christmas was also cut from the Cricut using a font from Cricut fonts.  I then adhered it to my canvas using some duck transfer tape. That would complete my simple project. Easy peasy.

Enjoy your holiday.

Hello fellow makers,

Today I wanted to pop in and share our work door for the month of May.
I have been designing our work doors sense the start of the year.  I don’t always post them but wanted to post this one.  I used my Cricut print and cut feature for the flowers.

The letters were cut at 3 inches using a font from DS. I forgot the one I used for
the letters.

I think it turned out great.
We needed the up lifting words especially durning this unprecedented time we are
are living in.
COVID -19 has definitely changed lives forever.

Hello Friends

Today I am sharing with you a card that I made for this new group called CardKindness Group.
This is a group that we send and hopefully receive some happy mail. Such as cards to help bring each other a little joy to our days and or nights.  Here below are a few of the cards I made for the next shipment of cards that will go out later this month.

I used papers from a 6x6 paper pad and the cards measure
4 1/4 x 5 1/2  a standard A2 size card.
I also used some sticklers on the smile cards and the other card I used some
Gems to add a little sparkle.
That’s it for today I hope to be back soon to share the rest of the cards with you.

Christmas Cards 2019

Hello Fellow Crafters,

Today I thought I would share a few cards that will be given to some of my co-workers along with a little gift.
I used my Cricut print and cut feature
on these cards. The images came from Design Space.
I just searched Christmas and picked the ones I liked.

I added some rhinestones to the trees to give them some bling and a little more interest.

I also used the glitter paper from my stash
as my mat behind the images.

I thought this little guy was so cut I had to make a card using him.

Here is the inside of one of the cards. It did
not set well on the paper. But it is still okay.

Another picture of the inside.

This stamp did not set well on this card either
It is a rubber stamp and I used memento tuxedo black ink.

Well that all for this post. Thanks for stopping by

Breast Cancer Awareness Pins

Hello Friends,

I thought I would share with you today some pins
I made for my co-workers and I to show our support for Breast Cancer Awareness month.
And I wanted  to add that I my self this year was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. So this is something that hit really close to home.  I am on the other side now of this disease. I am cancer free. Enough about me here are the cute pins.

I pulled out my Cricut and did a print and cut image from Design space.
They are 7 inches by 7 inches.
I attached the image to a circle from Basic shapes
I used my Anna Griffin Empress Dies Cutting machine
And a beaded circle and cut them out after the cricut did it’s cutting.
I wanted them to hold up through our 12 hour shift so
I ran them through my laminator for added protection.
I added pins on the back with my glue gun to finish them off.

Here is a closer look. I think they are super cute.
One because it’s a butterfly image and I love butterflies.
And two because it brings awareness. Early detection is key
to beating this disease.

Birthday Card

Hello Crafters,

Today I am sharing a card that I made to my daughters friend.
She is turning Sweet sixteen.
Take a look and tell me what you think.

Card made using an Anna Griffin  die. Cut with the new Impress die cutting machine.
I really love the ease of this machine no more cranking and it is quite as well. Very well built.

These dies are very intricate and cut so well. I would not expect anything less from Anna.

CARDZ TV ANYTHING GOES CHALLENGE #40

Hello Fellow Scrappers,

Today I am sharing a card that I made using Stampin Up product for the anything goes challenge
over at Cardz TV.  I have not entered in any contest in such a long time, I though this is a way for me to get back in to the grove of things.

On this card I used product from Stampin Up from a card kit.
I used white embossing powder for the flowers and heat embossed them you really can't tell
from the picture but it is really pretty.

I cut the little tag using my Cricut. Then is used a stamp from Stampin Up for the sentiment.
The shimmer twine I used for the bow is also from Stampin Up.
I left the inside of the card plain so that I can write a personal note to the intended.

T-Shirt Design

Hello Friends,

Today I will be highlighting a t-shirt I made using the Art Philosophy and my Cricut Explore.  Take a look below. This shirt was made for my daughter for a project in her Language Arts Class she helped me with the Design.

The shirt was purchased from Hobby Lobby.  I cut the letters @ 3 inches.

A closer look, I used Cricut transfer tape to make sure all of the letters
lined up properly.

This wolf was taken from an image on the internet and then
uploaded to Design Space and using the print then cut feature
it was sent to my printer.  I hand cut the image out using scissors.

The bottom of the shirt.

And now images of the back of the shirt

I think this came out great for my first t-shirt design.
