Eagle Project Book

Hello Friends,

It has been a busy summer break with the kids at home and I have found it very hard to post on here,
but I wanted to share with you today a book that I completed yesterday.  It is for my son.  He is working on his Eagle Project for scouting and I wanted to make sure that he had a place to put all of the pictures that we would take.  For those of you who a wondering what an Eagle Project is let me tell you it is a project done to earn the highest ranking in Boy Scouts and it is an great achievement. Take a look at the pictures of the book below.

I purchased the book from Hobby Lobby they had them for 50% off. Great deal huh.
It is a 6 x 12 inch photo album.

The letters were cut with my Cricut Explore @ 1 3/4 inches out of
white linen vinyl purchased from cricut.  I used the Plantain School
Book cartridge for the font.

The blue Eagle was also cut on the Explore from the
Cake Seasonal Sampler Cartridge @ 4 inches.  I used
the print then cut feature on this one.

In all it came out great.  This book will hold all of the pictures that we take from
him working on his project to the completion and set up of the project.
I hope that you get inspired and make something great today.

Critter All Occasion Cards

Hello Friends,

Today I am sharing some cards in a set of cards that I made for all occasion cards.

So for these two cards I cut the images from Create a Critter cartridge
and the top cards cut was from Miss Kate's Cuttables.

The balloons were cut from Create a Critter.

The stamp set came form My Pink Stamper stamps
I think it is called Every Day Sentiments.

The paper came form Color Bok from Walmart and the
patterned paper came form Color Bok as well. It is called Carnival.
I used my Cuddle Bug the Swiss dots embossing folder
to emboss the front mat which was cut form Elegant Edges cartridge.

Now these little bears are super cute.  They were cut from the Create
a Critter cartridge and Miss Kate's Cuttables for the bear on the patch
of grass I used my Art Philosophy cartridge to cut the mat for the first
little bear and Elegant Edges for the second mat.

The stamp set came from My Pink Stamper stamps called
Every Day Sentiments.

I used a heart punch out of red card stock form my stash
for the hearts and just placed them on the front of my cards.
I also used the Cuddle Bug and the Swiss Dots embossing folder to give it some
more pzazz.

I hope you will enjoy these series of cards so stay tuned for more.

Photo Booth Props

Hello Scrappers,

Today I am sharing the Photo Booth Props that will go along with the photo booth that I made for my family.

All of the props were purchased from Michael's for little to nothing.
They are all made of wood.

I proceeded to get the props ready for the booth. These are two
crowns for the Queens crown I painted it pink and added some jewels,
for the Kings crown I used some glitter paper from the Paper Studio and
traced the crown image onto the card stock and them fussy cut it out.

Super cute glasses.  These were also painted with spray paint that I
got from Walmart.  On the white glasses I added some blue glitter
to add some sparkle.

I used the same glitter paper from the Paper Studio for the bow tie and
for the mustaches I used some black paint.
Over all it was very easy to get these ready.  I hope that my family has fun with these props.

Mothers Day Cards

Hello Friends,

Today's post contains cards that I made for Mothers Day. These were featured on The Cricut Design Space in the Make It Now Section. Take a look below.

These Card were from the Cricut Design Space in the Make It Now Section
I used some basic card stock and my Cricut Explore.
The front of the card with the Happy Mothers Day was a print then cut.
I added some stickles on the flowers to give it some shine.
I cut a mat from the Art Philosophy Cartridge in Yellow.

This card was made the exact way I added some flowers.
I picked these up from Michael's in there dollar section.  It never amazes what finds I come across in the dollar sections at some stores.
The mat was cut using the Art Philosophy Cartridge. The Happy Mother's day was done
with the print then cut feature and with my Explore. I for got to mention the white card base in
regular card stock from The Paper Studio cut @ 5 x 7.

Now this card was also from the make it now projects from Cricut.
They had a few Mothers Day Cards free cuts for this week.  So like I know many other;s I took advantage of it and made some to give to friends and family.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Photo Booth

Hello Friends,

Today I am going to share pictures of a Photo Booth that I made for my family reunion.  Take a look.

I used the Cuttin Up cartridge for the letters the board was purchased from my local
Walmart.

For my cut outs and sayings I  used my Explore for the print and cut feature.
Some of the elements on the board are die cut stickers that you can write on
with chalk and markers.

Here is a close up of the letters. I used a purple glitter paper from the
Paper Studio glitter stack.

The say cheese was cut out from the Explore using the print then cut
as well as That's what she said element and not to forget the camera and
film elements.

A closer look of the other side of the board.  I just loved how this came together.
I know it will be a big hit.  In a later post I will show you the props that I made to go along with
this board of fun.
